Purpose of the visit
Rozwój międzynarodowej współpracy naukowej ze strategicznymi zagranicznymi ośrodkami naukowymi, zdobycie umiejetności z zakresu analiz genetycznych, badania zmian epigenetycznych i bioinformatyki.Development of international scientific cooperation with strategic foreign research centers, acquisition of skills in the field of genetic analysis, research on epigenetic changes and bioinformatics.

Course of the visit
during the visit, two research taks were completed:

• Optimizstion and preparation of ATACseq (Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin with high-throughput sequencing) libraries using cellular models - in close collaboration with Dr. Javier Fernández-Mateos.
• Study of the evolution of mutations in the CD19 gene and identification of mutations in the CD19 gene promoter in model cell lines - under the supervision of Dr. Ana Gutiérrez-Fernández.

Acquired skills & continued collaboration
During the study visit, Marta acquired skills in preparing ATACseq sequencing libraries, assessing their quality, and pooling them for sequencing, as well as conducting experiments and analyzing mutation testing results using the Sanger sequencing method. 

The ATACseq sequencing results will be analyzed in collaboration with Prof. Xose S. Puente's team and will be the subject of further collaboration or a joint manuscript.

The results regarding the analysis of mutation evolution in the CD19 gene will be incorporated into a manuscript on the phenomenon of resistance to anti-CD19 CAR-T therapy using different CAR structures, which is currently in the submission process.
