About the Foundation

The Foundation was established in 1992 on the initiative of blind people and their sighted friends. The Foundation's activities consist in supporting people who have lost their eyesight, and medicine gives them no hope of improving their situation. The activities of the Foundation include, among others, the organization of workshops and trainings where participants receive tools and tips so that they can lead an active and successful life. The Foundation also offers textbooks on modern rehabilitation and organizes the world's largest international conference, REHA FOR THE BLIND IN POLAND, attended annually by several thousand people from around the world.
