Cytation3 reader can take photos of both fixed and stained cells growing on multi-well plates. Built-in DAPI, GFP, TexasRed Filters and appropriate software allows for detailed data collection, cell count in each photo, determination of the cell size and intercellular distance. The analysis module enables the correction od automatically obtained data e.g. in cell aggregates. The device can measure absorbance in two modes: kinetic and areal, i.e. single spot measurement or multi-spot measurements from each well. Additionally, the reader allows for the use of Petri plates and on basic microscope slides or Lab-Tek Chamber Slide slides.

NanoEnTek counter quickly and accurately determines the number of cells in the suspension. Trypan Blue stain allows for quick count of live and dead cells as well as their viability. The device also offers individual setting of measurement parameters. It is possible to select the range of live cell size and degree of sphericity. The obtained results can be stored and undergo in-depth analysis. The computer program enables a thorough determination of cell size and their percentage in the whole population. Moreover, the obtained results can be counted manually in case of clumped cells and artifacts in the analysed suspension.

Supreme optical performance is guaranteed by CFI60 microscope objectives. The microscope is equipped with an epi-fluorescence illuminator and interference contrast enabling the observation of structures invisible in the bright field, and a monochrome QICAM digital camera.
Microscope parameters allow for:
- collecting images from a designated area and assembling them into one large image;
- extracting three-dimensional objects, counting them, and determining spatial characteristics such as position, volume, lateral surface area, sphericity, diameter, optical density;
- Image-Pro Plus software is used for image acquisition, processing and analysis;
